CONTENIDO DE AZUCARES DE Holcus lanatus L Y SUS PROPIEDADES ESCLEROMORFAS

Abstract

The influence of P shortage on sugars contents (mono and disaccharides) in Holcus lanatus L. in relation to its scleromorphous propierties was studied. Shortage of this nutrient element was found to increase the resistance capacity to dryness of this graminea, since it producer sugar acumulation. This accumulation was related directly to osmotic values and scleromorphic indexes (raw fiber / raw protein) and indirectly to P contents of this species.
