Abstract

As many areas of the veterinary medicine, clinical endocrinology has experienced significant advances in the knowledge of physiology, physiopathology and the diagnosis of diseases in domestic animals. The present review seeks to provide an up-to-date information of most currently used endocrine tests in a concise and practical way for the students of veterinary medicine that are in their clinical residence and for the colleagues that want more information on the understanding of physiologic conditions and the differential diagnosis between endocrine disorders and other pathologies.
