Análisis discriminante de un conjunto de parámetros fonético-acústicos de las pausas llenas para identificar hablantes
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper presents preliminary results of a forensic phonetics identification study which aims at discriminate speakers in the forensic phonetics field. Discriminant power of a set of phonetic-acoustic variables related to voice quality of the full pauses (or hesitation pauses) in a 8-speakers corpus is investigated. Results show a quite high proportion (86,3%) of correct classifications. If men and women are analysed separately, the percentages of exact classifications are 95.8 and 93.6% respectively. Therefore, it concludes that discriminant analysis of these voice parts is useful for speaker identification.
