A view of language in two young poets from Concepción, Chile

Abstract

Within the framework of the notion of "linguistics in the poem", the paper examines the view of language explicitly expressed in texts of Damsi Figueroa and Marcelo Garrido, young poets from Concepción. These texts offer interesting insights concerning the nature, structure, and functions of language, especially in regard to the relation between the heuristic and poetic function.
