Disciplinary Mutations in the poetry of Enrique Lihn

Abstract

Chilean poetry in the last few years has witnessed a process of disciplinary mutations. One of the most interesting processes has to do with the incorporation of the "poetic canon" of production resources and discourse strategies of the so called social sciences (sociology, anthropology, historiography) producing an effect of unstability and hybridism in the disciplines, in the knowledge mechanisms and representation of reality and the discourses that make them up. In this context, this work analyzes the "situated poetry" of Enrique Lihn and his (pseudo) sociological and anthropological investigations.
