Bright at Sunrise. Peripheral Marginal Literature of São Paulo

Main Article Content

Mary Luz Estupiñán Serrano

Abstract

This essay has three purposes: first, to present the so-called “peripheral marginal literature” of São Paulo and the movement it produces in order to point out the literary dispute that this modulation establishes. Here the role played by Ferréz is crucial. Second, to specify one of the peculiarities of this writing that we have designated as “the taking of the peripheral word”. And, finally, to propose that with these productions we attend to a verification of the democracy attributed to Literature in the terms proposed by Jacques Rancière.
