Casa Anwandter: Recorrido histórico y análisis para su recuperación estética

Abstract

This research comes out of the need to make structural repairs and aesthetic recovery to the building that houses the Historical and Anthropological Museum Maurice van de Maele in Valdivia. The Anwandter House, Historical National Monument since 1981, is one of the three oldest architectural representations built in native wood that is conserved until the present day in the city. The first challenge faced was to determine the chromatic intervention done to its facade under the concept of historical preservation.
