Spanish criminal procedure and the illegal evidence

Abstract

This paper studies the existence of a legal regime regarding illegal evidence in Spanish law. With that purpose, it refers to its legislative history, to its legal foundations and the particulars of its regulation. Also, the paper explains the development of Spanish Constitutional Court´s doctrine on the subject of the illegally obtained evidence, from its beginnings in the early eighties to our days.
