Abstract

The Superintendencies have been empowering themselves with the function of administering justice. Allowing them to settle controversies on different topics, such as competition, consumer, corporate, health or financial issues. The purpose of this investigation is to analyze the four (4) Superintendencies, which fulfill jurisdictional functions in Colombia. To achieve this objective, a documentary research was carried out, examining and analyzing the doctrine, jurisprudence and legislation that deals with the subject. Finding that there has been more continuous empowerment, in sectors of special impact for the country’s economy, than a thoughtful and coordinated process.
