Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the concepts of credibility and reliability, which have been used indistinctively when valuing testimonies. In such regard, we will seek to establish how these concepts should be examined as properties of testimonies that, when endowed with a certain content, allow them to be functional to the judicial practice at the time of valuation of the evidence, in the sense of identifying credibility with the subject and the testimony with reliability.
