Abstract

This article analyzes options that can offer a restorative mediation treatment in harassment conflicts in Chilean universities. The research is based on a qualitative methodology, descriptive design, with limited fieldwork. The one that concludes that the incorporation of a restorative mediation treatment for the approach of harassment conflicts that affect students in the university community, can alter the climate that is required to develop effective learning, a situation that in most Universities is addressed through policies and Regulations that, without prejudice to constituting progress in the matter, are not a valid option for those affected, since they do not allow obtaining the preventive results expected by the parties, preserving the dignity of those affected, or delivering reparative solutions to the victims.
