Abstract

The paper identifies the connections among a group of basic evidentiary concepts and different kinds of reasoning. This identification is useful to achieve a better performance of such concepts in executing the tasks that lead to a decision upon facts. Concepts are presented under a structure of a conceptual model, which requires to distinguish different evidentiary phases depending on the products to be built. Doctrinal, epistemic, and logical reasoning are considered in the analysis.
