Abstract

The legitimation of abortion linked to scientific discoveries in the field of early life, has made its way to be the birth, and no death, currently becoming one of the new frontiers of liability, demonstrating therefore the dynamism of this figure to fit the new social landscape. While there are several opinions that approve or disapprove the practice of abortion, this article is not meant to make a judgment of moral values. The purpuse with this case study is to show the current state of the phenomenon in Colombia and how this procedure becomes a new frontier for medical and health liability.
