ASSESSMENT OF CULTURAL HERITAGE IN LOS RÍOS. A NEW LOOK FOR THE ANALYSIS AND MANAGEMENT OF CULTURAL HERITAGE

Abstract

Cultural heritage management has positioned itself as a subject of study, analysis and public planning in Chile. However, a fundamental part of this discipline, The value analysis relegated remaining scientific analysis and dissociated from the proposals and mechanisms management. The recently completed study “Diagnóstico del Patrimonio Cultural de de la Región de Los Ríos” has addressed this matter for purposes of proposing an agenda of work in heritage culture for the region over the medium term. This exercise is a reference point and home for specialized research and certainly adds valuable elements the overall process of design and heritage planning.
