Abstract

Physical changes being developed in the territory need to be highly considered when planning, designing and assessing a landscape. Such changes are those characterizing both the place we live in and our life quality. Based on research results on the perception of visual changes of the Australian landscape, the need to understand those changes that happened in Chile on 27thF is emphasized and reflected upon; either positive or negative, particularly during the reconstructing process, mainly if they modify scenic, ecological and utilitarian values of landscape.
