Abstract

It is usually understood that color is a graphic resource that allows a greater degree of realism in any representation. However, in the teaching-learning processes typical of the first years of the Architecture program, this figurative possibility is often detrimental to the critical and reflective capacity of the students. On the contrary, the selective or restricted use of color implies a greater commitment to what is represented, since it requires a capacity for synthesis and forces a choice that needs arguments. This article presents a pedagogical experience, developed in a curricular course, the objective of which is to promote control strategies of chromatic aspects in graphic representations of architecture projects.
