Abstract

A research on amphibian habitat in the Amazon rainforest was carried out. The methodology included field visits to Leticia, in the Colombian Amazon, and reading exploration in secondary sources. An analysis of categories related to land and water edge ecosystems –amphibian habitats– was made, starting with the definition of amphibian habitat in Colombia and continuing with the architectural structuring of constructions in the Amazon. Finally, the article concludes with reflections on amphibian habitat seeking strategies for the possible planning of these vulnerable territories.
