Linguistic and ethnographic atlas of Chile. Locations and questionnaire

Abstract

This paper shows a net of locations and the questionnaire designed to get the data for the Linguistic and Ethnographic Atlas of Chile by regions, ALECh, the criteria used to choose those locations and the questions included in the questionnaire. Since these criteria are based on the knowledge of the geography, the history and the production activities of the community, of whose language and cultural manifestations the atlas intends to become a testimony, these extra-linguistic factors are considered at the beginning.
