Abstract

The study of the collected forms to express the concept "carry on the back" in the Spanish of Chile shows the existence of four predominant words, which delineate dialectal areas, not limited yet.


This fact is studied etymologically, linking it to the possible dialectal frontiers postulated for Chile.
