Voice quality and dynamics in social groups of Valdivia City - Chile

Abstract

This paper examines and identifies the main features of voice quality and voice dynamics in the speech of speakers belonging to the low, medium and high strata in the city of Valdivia (Chile). The study shows that there are significant similarities and differences of age, sex and social stratum.
