Abstract

This work was centered on a working-class scheme present in counties of the Greater Concepción area, in Chile. For this, univariate and bivariate analysis techniques were applied to data provided from the 2002 Chilean Census for which Neo-Webarian principals were mainly examined. Conversely, we have investigated the different socio-economic characteristics of households of each of these classes through three synthetic indexes. From this scheme, it was possible to find socio-economical differences between the classes, especially with regards to access to certain durable goods.
