Narratives of entering to police institution. The life story as a metaphor of the group tradition
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article explores the narratives that police members build about their entry to the institution, understanding that those biographic stories are not subjective testimonies but stories molded by the environment in which the person is immersed. I propose that the account of the own life is build as a social story, by which the person coordinate its personal story with the story of the group. Thus, the life story functions as a metaphor of the group tradition.
