Abstract

This article explores the historical roots of the global processes that intersect today in the Northern Andean Patagonia region in Argentina, concerning regional production at the scale of family agriculture. To that end, this article addresses the notion of globalization from a decolonial perspective, reviewing archives of regional family rural production. The article observes here permanent concealment of the family-scale of the rural, which is problematized through an analysis of the constitution and impact of the National Censuses, especially the National Agricultural Census. As an alternative to these problems, we propose an approach from situated knowledge theory.
