Towards a new environmental rationality: The ethical-epistemological turn in the work of Alfredo Pradenas Mera

Abstract

The following paper presents an intellectual portrait of the teacher, colleague and friend, Alfredo Alejandro Pradenas Mera. In this paper, some of the most important milestones in his academic career are exposed, along with his valuable contribution to the Chilean philosophy, especially in bioethics. Also, I would like to incorporate personal experiences based on an academic relationship and the affectionate friendship that we shared for years.
