Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to give an account of a process of reflection on the concept of pedagogy in the disciplinary field of Social Sciences, based on the implementation of autoethnography as a primary revision methodology, a guide on the way to understanding schooling systems, which allows to cross the conceptual thresholds of school systems and assume pedagogy as a framework of action and discourse, arranged for the production of knowledge from thinking, feeling and doing inside and outside institutionalized school spaces. The autoethnography gives way to introspection and seeks a narrative of its own, from the awareness of itself, facing the environment; Therefore, it can generate questions that, beyond seeking definitive answers, stimulate the emergence of ideas that are gradually nourished by experience in the way of scientific, critical, entropic and intersubjective research.
