Chavismo: identities and social actors in the mediated political sphere in Venezuela

Abstract

We present an analysis from the perspective of the Critical Discourse Analysis of the discursive categories of nomination and instance of identification or belonging of the participating subjects in the mediated public space representative of the communication policy of the Bolivarian Revolution, Aló, President, in Venezuela. In this way we analyze the discursive mechanisms of representation, as well as the dynamics of identification and tensions that are established between a set of political identities (popular power, State, government and the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB), amalgamated within the project and political movement called the Chavismo Venezuelan.
