Abstract

This text is a written version of an interview with the French philosophers Cristian Lazzeri and Emmanuel Renault of the Université Paris-Nanterre, in relation to their most relevant works. This session was part of the Postgraduate Seminar entitled: “A French Critical Theory? The French reception of contemporary theories of recognition”. This writing is an accurate transcription of the collective interview that was carried out in French and English, and which has been reviewed by the interviewees. This session was held virtually on Monday, December 14, 2020, and was the closing session of a Seminar held between the Austral University of Chile
and the Catholic University of Temuco in order to deepen the problems of a contextualized theory of recognition.
