The pericenter of Coquimbo as a strategic renovation scenario

Abstract

This article is aimed at offering a summary of the most relevant aspects that gave rise to the guidelines proposal for the renewal of Coquimbo's pericenter. Addressed from a systemic standpoint, the territorial strengths and hillside decline issues are the empirical basis to project an urban development hub in one of the most vulnerable settings in the Coquimbo-La Serena conurbation.
