Neolocal Workshop and the other education. The teaching-learning process of architecture and the cities of the future

Abstract

The Neolocal Workshop is focused on the teaching-learning process in architecture and introduces current citizen demands, inserts students in real and complex problems of contemporaneous sociocultural issues by valuing the world vision of human groups involved, contributes with a scope of relevant inputs in architectural and urban design, and connects environmental and sociocultural variables. Its goal is to conceive and develop a comprehensive sustainability in living thereby helping improve the quality of living in cities by means of building identity and ownership. A theoretical and methodological reflection of new architects concerning emerging issues and paradigmatic frontiers.
