Mindfulness y educación en Chile: Estudio exploratorio de intervenciones y revisión sistemática de la evidencia

Resumen
El propósito del presente estudio fue describir y analizar el estado actual de incorporación de programas basados en mindfulness en el sistema educacional chileno, incluyendo niveles de educación parvularia, básica y media. El diseño fue cualitativo, incluyendo entrevistas a actores clave del área mindfulness para la identificación de experiencias de implementación, y la revisión de artículos científicos de autores o estudios chilenos. Se identificaron 25 experiencias y 7 artículos académicos. Se evidenció escasa evaluación de resultados de las experiencias implementadas, tan solo 4 de éstas fueron evaluadas. La revisión de la literatura y de las experiencias que fueron evaluadas dan cuenta de resultados que coinciden con la evidencia internacional: reducción de estrés, ansiedad y depresión tanto en docentes como estudiantes, mejora de satisfacción vital en docentes, mejora de habilidades prosociales, rendimiento académico y regulación de la atención en estudiantes.
