Explorando el potencial de los libros ilustrados sobre migraciones para trabajar la alfabetización emocional con el profesorado en formación

Resumen
Este estudio contribuye a que el profesorado en formación reciba una educación integral al diseñar e implementar una propuesta didáctica basada en los principios de la educación emocional mediante libros ilustrados sobre migraciones. Su finalidad es el desarrollo de distintas alfabetizaciones y competencias en las clases de inglés como lengua extranjera. Se emplea una metodología cuantitativa en la que los datos se basan en un cuestionario anónimo y en una rúbrica completados por el alumnado. Los resultados muestran que emplear libros ilustrados sobre migraciones permite al estudiantado profundizar en los principios de la educación emocional y en distintas alfabetizaciones y competencias que contribuyen a su formación como ciudadanía global. En conclusión, utilizar libros ilustrados permite dotar al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de contenido social pues se potencia una formación integral cuyo fin es formar ciudadanía global a la vez que se trabajan conocimientos propios de la asignatura.
