Main conclusions raised by studies on university teaching: a systematic review
Main Article Content
Abstract
Research in higher education is a recent field of study, which has become an object of study of interest given the pedagogical-research emphasis, causing an incipient increase in empirical data. For this reason, this article aims to identify the main findings and conclusions of research in higher education teaching at the international level in the last five years. To this end, a systematic review was carried out in the SCOPUS database, performing a content analysis of 29 articles related to 17 international contexts. Among the main results, 4 categories were obtained, namely: “Higher education”, “Higher education policies”, “Initial teacher training” and “Future lines of research”. The attributes of the categories lead to the conclusion that there is a demand for articulating research and teaching, at the pedagogical, political, student and social levels.
