Abstract

In this work, beliefs of implicit knowledge of primary school teachers, in schools to which students of medium and low social sectors of San Carlos de Bariloche attend, Argentina, are analyzed. The analysis is developed over semi-structured interviews concerning the professional choice of the teachers, the conception of teaching and learning and the visions upon the students and the educational system. The work shows the incidence of the socio-cultural context of the pupils in the construction of the implicit knowledge of the teachers.
