The practice of the educational communication with visually disabled children through the theater

Abstract

We present a study carried out with a group of children at the School of Visually Disabled Children Ann Sullivan of Valdivia, 10th Region of Los Lagos. The study sums up the collective process of creation generated inside a group of blind children, where the dialogic model of communication was put in practice by means of the adaptation and development of 26 theater shop sessions. The investigation offers a communicative approach to the process of education and learning with blind children. "Communicative", since the adaptation of the theater workshop methodology from the communicative perspective of the education, process is presented as a suitable tool of generation dialogue and participation in visually disabled children.
