Abstract

One of the objectives pursued by educational reforms worldwide is to improve the quality of teachers, as this leads to an improvement in the quality of student learning. In this sense, reflective practice is a concrete option in the pursuit of this objective, since it would allow teachers to be provided with tools to transform their performance and improve teaching-learning processes. The objective of this study is to identify and analyze the scientific production on reflective practice in teacher training, through a search of documents contained in Elsevier’s Scopus databases and in Clarivate Analytics’ Web of Science (WoS), by means of a descriptive quantitative study, with a cross-retrospective character and using a bibliometric analysis or documentary analysis of the scientific production on the subject of the last five years.
