Abstract

Research advances associated with the master’s thesis are presented, whose objective is to recognize the meaning and scope of management/administration in some initial training curricula in the field of Physical Education in some South American universities. It is a multiple case study that resorts to the analysis of deconstructive discourse as suggested by the Derrida method and the use of the analysis tool ATLAS.ti. One of the most important conclusions has to do with the emergence of a selection of culture that goes beyond the traditional nomination of Sports Administration used in the curricula.
