A methodological wholistic alternative for students of the career of Language and Literature of the Universidad Católica Boliviana

Abstract

The work refers to the application of the wholistic methodology in the learning process of students of the Career Language and Literature at the Universidad Católica Boliviana, Cochabamba, Bolivia. 
The following instruments were applied at the beginning and at the end of the course: Style of Learning and Thinking (Torrance et al.) and Learning Style Inventory (Kolb). Several activities were planned, according to the methodology. The experimental group showed, at the end of the process, a noticeable advance in whole brain activities. The same subjects showed better results and satisfaction in their learning. The wholistic methodology is an objective response in the achievement of an integral education.
