Abstract

This article analyzes the reflexive competence developed during the pedagogical practices of initial education of physical education teachers (IEPET), in the city of Medellín, Colombia. The objective of the study involves knowing how reflexive competence develops from the pedagogical practices carried out by the students. A qualitative methodology supported by ATLAS.ti software (Version 9) was used to analyze the sessions held in the field and the discussion hearings with the student practitioners, together with their advisers, cooperators and researchers. It is concluded that lower-order thinking skills are those that have the greatest impact on the development of reflexivity of students in their pedagogical practices.
