Abstract

The objective of this work is to determine the type of learning methodology preferred by the students of the degree program in early childhood education. The research methodology used was quantitative, and cross-sectional, supported by social research techniques such as the focus group. Stated preference surveys were conducted, which were coded for modeling in Biogeme® software, designing utility functions and applying multinomial logit (MNL) models, determining the probability of choice by respondents. The education methodologies analyzed according to the opinion of the students were: the master class, problem-based learning, cooperative learning and the inverted classroom, and were measured with three important parameters or variables according to the population studied: significant learning, the skills that can be developed with the application of the methodology and its pedagogical practice component.
